BEAUVERILIN

Beauverilin is an eco-friendly microbial insecticide. It has the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana and is widely used as a microbial insecticide for the pest control of agricultural, ornamental plants and poultry larva. When the spores of this fungus come in contact with the cuticle (skin) of the target pest, they germinate and grow directly through the cuticle into the inner body of the host pest. The fungus proliferates throughout the insect’s body, draining the insect off nutrients thereby eventually killing the pest in about 3-5 days after usage of the fungus. Beauverilin is effective against various species of Thrips, Beetles and Aphids, Glass house white fly, larva of Colorado beetle and various species of leaf growing pests. The efficiency depends on the susceptibility, insect age, environmental conditions and number of spores contacting the insects.
