Sudolin is an eco-friendly microbial control agent. It has Pseudomonas fluorescens, a non pathogenic saprophyte that colonises soil, water, and plant surface environments. This saprophyte suppresses plant diseases by the production of a number of secondary metabolites inducing antibiotics, siderophores and hydrogen cyanide. These microbes have the unique ability to enter the plant vascular system, reach various parts of the system and act as a systemic microbial control agent against various fungal and bacterial diseases. It produces exopolysaccharides which are used for protection against bacteriophages by dehydration as well as for defence against the host immune system.
